Office of Corporate & Venture Development (CVD)

CVD is responsible for commercially-sponsored research, patents and licenses, new venture activity, corporate gifts, and corporate vending relationships. Corporate & Venture Development includes the Vice Chancellor Corporate & Venture Development, Office of Licensing & Ventures, Office of Corporate Research Collaborations, Corporate Alliances & Development and Corporate Programs

Office of Corporate Research and Collaboration (OCRC)

OCRC has responsibility for research-related interactions with commercial entities including clinical trials, non-clinical sponsored research, material transfer agreements, and other related endeavors. OCRC also has intellectual property management responsibilities, particularly those arising from, or closely associated with, commercially sponsored research projects.

Office of Licensing & Ventures (OLV)

OLV is responsible for patents, technology licenses and new venture development for Duke University and Medical Center.
